American wedding, portrait & travel photographer, Emmarie Jackson talks about photographing a pink wedding inspiration at Chateau Cocomar in Houston, TX.
Brides all over the world always search for timeless, classic and elegant wedding inspiration. I'm positive that you can never run out of any. There are so many out there that relate to traditional, and non-traditional, but here we have a very basic, oldie but goodie. Many of us girls love pink. I know not all, but it is a very classic wedding color. And when combined with colors that compliment, it can really pop.
I had the privilege to photograph Amelie and Zachary at Chateau Cocomar in Houston, TX to showcase what these basic colors, when combined can look very charming. We have a combination of red roses, mums, and pink ranunculus with a hint of yellow and white roses make for a very beautiful spring like vibe.
The table is adorned with a floral table spread with tall arrangements of pink, red and peach roses. to compliment to the tall arrangements, there are smaller and shorter floral arrangements as well. The wine and water glasses have a hint of pink, and the menus are printed in white over pink textured stationery.
The main stationery (invitations) are all pink and orange floral print. And the cake is four tiered pink and white ombre decorated with pink, white, red and peach flowers. This wedding inspiration is very rich in pink, that even the bridal shoes are a pair of pink luxurious Luboutins.
A very classic, elegant and timeless theme, pink really makes for a beautiful color for any bride and groom.
